Many sites will actually benefit from using the “List Posts” plugin to place posts on pages. Think “Public Affairs” or “Emergency Department” from our North Sacramento Valley Intranet. The help tabs will assist you, if you’re not sure how to do this.

Cancer program earns full accreditation
The Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons has granted three-year accreditation with commendation to the cancer programs at both our Sacramento and Roseville Medical Centers. Each has been designated a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. The Commission on Cancer is dedicated to improving the survival and quality of life for cancer patients through standard setting, prevention, research, education, and the monitoring of comprehensive quality care. We are proud that our cancer program meets or exceeds 12 Eligibility Requirements and 25 Standards for new programs, and maintains a level of excellence in the delivery of comprehensive, patient centered care.
Our Commitment
At Kaiser Permanente Roseville and Sacramento, we provide an integrated care delivery system composed of specialists and multidisciplinary care teams that are focused on disease prevention and providing high quality care.
Every day, we make a commitment to beating cancer and saving lives with earlier detection, cutting-edge research, and superior personal care.
Every patient, every time.
National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Community Oncology Research Program
The designation from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) allows Kaiser Permanente to expand the innovative oncology clinical trials program and conduct new research on cancer care delivery.
The award, announced by the National Cancer Institute on August 1, 2014, is part of a new national research program called the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP). Being part of the program will allow Kaiser Permanente to continue its focus on enrolling patients in the NCI Clinical Trials Network, testing new cutting-edge therapies, and comparing existing cancer treatments on a patient-by-patient basis.
The Kaiser Permanente NCORP will serve about one out of every 40 cancer patients in the United States.
